Wildwood Instruments is now offering instrument making courses. You will be taught how to make one of the many instruments from the Wildwood range. This is a hands-on course where you will be building your very own instrument. Some steps will be done for you, but the majority of the work is yours. You will end up with a beautifully handcrafted instrument to take home and show off to your friends. This is an excellent course to get you going in the field of instrument making as the instruments are designed simply and are relatively easy to construct. Some woodworking skills would be an advantage, but are not necessary. Due to insurance reasons, participants need to be at least 18 years and above.

COURSE FEEDBACK

The following comments are from students who have previously completed the Wildwood Travel Guitar Making Course. Some students had no prior woodworking skills at all but still managed to make a beautiful work of art and a very fine instrument indeed!

(L to R) Sue, Chris and Trenna with their very own Wildwood Travel Guitars

"Thanks so much for the course it was really such a fantastic experience and one that has shocked many people who have seen the final result. Who would have thought a woman with no woodwork experience could make such a beautiful piece of art work that sounds so awesome. Rock ON!!" - Sue

"Nick's friendly demeanour and patience made the whole course thouroughly enjoyable - Highly recommended for those wanting a taster in luthiery" - Chris

"The course was very informative, I learnt alot about the process of making a guitar, and I liked the biscuits" - Trenna
