In musical terms, a compilation is a collection of songs that form a particular theme. This artwork has used a wide range of off-cuts of tone-woods from past instruments that I have made. From the scrap wood box in my workshop I have sourced this collection of stunning woods. No timber is wasted and these small but beautiful pieces of tone-wood have come together to form a new work.
