This animated artwork uses a record player to revolve the two instruments on display. One represents the struggling musician busking on the streets, trying to raise enough funds to eat, and the other rolling in the riches of success and diamond encrusted opulence. The disparity between these two extremes is very real and very evident in our daily lives. The same guitar was used on each side of this artwork, possibly representing the same musician at different stages of their career. This would suggest that it is not solely talent that separates these two but some other power.
