Over the centuries drums have been used for many different purposes. They have been used by armies to strike fear into their enemies, for weddings, funerals, celebrations and ceremonies of all sorts, along with most commonly nowadays, entertainment. As a consequence, the humble drum is responsible for evoking many different moods and emotions.
