This artwork personifies these two ukuleles in the act of love making. They are naked, or raw and unpainted, their strings are disheveled and let loose whilst they are lying in a bed of sheets (sheet music in this case, which all happen to be love songs). The alternate name for this piece was For the Love of Music, which would describe our connection with it better but the name Naked Between the Sheets describes what is actually going on a little more clearly. I’ll save that alternate name for another piece.
