A sound wave is the basic building block of all music, an atom in an aural universe. Soundwaves can be represented visually as a waveform by plotting the sound’s frequency and amplitude. Thus, we can create a silent image of sound.
I have used Blackwood, an Australian tone-wood to form this beautiful, stylised depiction of a sound wave.
