Stringy Bark Tree

$2,100.00 inc. GST

Australia’s great Eucalyptus trees with thick, fibrous bark are known as Stringybark trees. This artwork plays on that name. The inverted guitar represents a eucalyptus tree with its pale green foliage and (literally) stringybark. The ends of the strings protruding from the headstock represent the fine underground root system of these magnificent trees. And what tree is complete without some birds in its branches.

Side note: Unfortunately most stringybark Eucalypts do not produce great timbers for guitar building.
