Three Quarters is a reference to the musical time signature 3/4, where there is three beats to the bar. The instrument used here is a 3/4 sized classical guitar, divided equally into three seperate frames. As straight forward as it appears, the challenge here was to get the strings to float across all three frames seamlessly. This triptych reveals just one of the many ways in which music can be measured.
