The kick drum from a drum kit gives a thunderous booming beat when played, especially when it is amplified in an auditorium or concert hall. This multi-sensory artwork has created the effect of thunder and lightning beneath clouds, inside of a bass drum, rumbling away and ready to strike at any moment!

This artwork was shown as an installation at the Repercussion exhibition. Delicate Sound Of Thunder placed the Thunder Drum inside an old, stripped out caravan, with the windows blacked out, so the viewer would experience the artwork in an isolated environment, enhancing the experience.
