Luthier ,Nick Carpenter, builds a wide range of instruments.  The following list is what is available for sale at the moment.  Nick prefers not to build to customers specs/requests as he likes to create his own distinct and unique range of instruments.


These beautiful guitars are created with an unpretentious approach to instrument making. With a natural, organic design, common through-out the Wildwood range, these guitars are truly stunning works of art.
They feature a solid Sitka Spruce top, Jarrah back and sides, bolt on Queensland Maple neck, jarrah fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Gotoh tuners, 2 way truss rod and the beautiful “Wild Design” motif on the soundboard. Scale length is 25.4″ (645mm), lower bout is 16″ (405mm). The LR Baggs Stage Pro pickup system is installed on board (highly regarded as one of the best brands on the market!). The side mounted StagePro preamp and an undersaddle element are the perfect accompaniment for this performance ready instrument.

These funky A5 style mandolins have a solid, one piece spruce top and a bolt on Queensland Maple neck with Jarrah fretboard. The back and sides are beautifully coordinated jarrah. These tough little units produce a magnificent sound. The neck width is 35mm, slightly wider than standard, to improve playability.

Artist Series Guitars

These beautiful and unique guitars boast solid Blackwood back and sides, a Sitka Spruce top and very rare flame Jarrah fretboard, bridge and headstock.  Unique features include inlaid side fret markers, fretboard end swirl, bolt-on Queensland Maple neck, Flame Jarrah end wedges, and individually, one has a lovely Blackwood scratch plate while the other has a carved bridge and a raised Blackwood and Jarrah design at the base of the soundboard.

Specifications include black binding, two-way truss rod, 25.4″ (645mm) scale length, 16″ (405mm) lower bout, Gotoh machine heads, bone nut and saddle, and a polyurethane satin finish.

These guitars produce a big, powerful sound, are well balanced, and have a very nice clarity.

*Mandolin Hard Case is not specifically designed for this model (it is a tenor uke case) but it does fit snugly!
