Guitar Repair Services

We offer a Guitar Repair Service. Whether your guitar needs a restring, setup, modifications, repairs, or other work done, we probably can help. We can service acoustic, classical and electric guitars, basses, ukuleles, mandolins, and similar stringed instruments. Please get in touch to discuss your needs. It is probably best to ring Nick on 0416188950 to discuss, rather than sending lots of emails back and forth. A standard setup is $100 plus strings. More complex jobs are done at an hourly rate ($100/hr)

Please note, we do not do resprays or paint touchups. Classical instruments (violin, cello, etc.) are not our speciality but we may be able to help with basic repairs, or setups.

Private Tuition

We offer private one-on-one instruction in guitar making, setup techniques, repairs and so forth. Bring your projects along and we can work on them together. Whether you are wanting help to complete a guitar you have started or work on your existing guitars, I can help. Come into the luthiers workshop, surrounded by all the tools of the trade and absorb some friendly tuition from a luthier with over 30 years of experience.
$120/hr (min two hours) or $600 a day, plus materials

Custom Builds

While we offer customised kit guitar builds, where there are lots of options for you to customise the models we have on offer (Custom Electric Guitars – Made To Order) at the moment we do not offer total custom builds as we do not have CNC machinery nor a spray booth for paint finishes.

You are welcome to contact us to discuss your electric guitar needs but bear in mind our limitations.

There are plans to offer custom shapes in the future. Join our mailing list if you want to be kept up to date with this.
